With just a point and a click, the business world has been transformed from a scene of manual and verbal transactions to that of electronic bits of data transmitted effortlessly from buyers to suppliers.
In line with MAHB business direction, where Service Excellence is one of the key pillars, Procurement & Contract Division has decided to adopt the e-Procurement system based on the ever evolving world of Information Computer Technology (ICT). This initiative is part of our process streamlining in moving towards better efficiency.
In our effort to also promote and strive for integrity and transparency, e-Procurement has proven itself as one of the more effective and efficient tools for bringing good governance to the procurement process. Therefore with the implementation of e-Procurement system, the expectations are:
  • Significant improvement in transparency: traceability of all transactions; effective for preventing fraud and corruption; provides audit trail.
  • Enhances value for money: enhances competition through improved accessibility; reduces procurement costs and transaction costs.
  • Improved work efficiency: reduces disputes; better enforcement of regulations; reduced procurement time; standardization and streamlining of procurement process.
